Gloria Marie Mathyer, 53, Twisp, was found guilty (jury trial) June 10 for vehicular homicide and vehicular assault. Mathyer pleaded guilty June 7 to third-degree DWLS. She was sentenced to 173 months (14.4 years) in prison and fined $600 for the June 7, 2014 crimes.

Tyler Scott Fife, 22, Tonasket, was found guilty (jury trial) April 5 of first-degree burglary, residential burglary, second-degree burglary, first-degree theft, second-degree theft, first-degree possession of stolen property, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, theft of a motor vehicle, theft of a firearm, POCS (hydrocodone), POCS (ecstasy) and two counts of second-degree malicious mischief. Fife was sentenced May 11 to 89.5 months (7.46 years) in prison and fined $600 plus $19,345 in restitution.
