OKANOGAN – The Okanogan County Sheriff’s office has arrested Sharon A. Allard, 54, Okanogan, for shooting her husband just after midnight, Wednesday, Dec. 20.
OROVILLE – The Washington State Department of Ecology has issued an administrative order and $21,600 civil penalty to Greg Newmarch of Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, for unauthorized shoreline construction on Palmer Lake in Okanogan County.
The court found probable cause to charge Donovan Rae Nysti, 24, Okanogan, with POCS, two counts of possession of a stolen firearm and two counts of second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm.
OKANOGAN – Washington State Patrol (WSP) Trooper Conner Bruchman sustained minor injuries when he was rear-ended by an impaired driver on US 97 near Okanogan on Sunday, Dec, 10, 2017, at about 6:10 p.m.
OROVILLE – Local kids from Oroville and Tonasket got a chance to mix with law enforcement last Saturday as part of the Shop with a Cop program.
The court found probable cause to charge Jared Nathanael Fudge, 27, Omak, with first-degree aggravated murder (premeditated), first-degree arson, first-degree burglary and theft of a motor vehicle. The crimes allegedly occurred Nov. 17.
OKANOGAN – Three people have been arrested who are suspected of involvement in a string of burglaries and thefts that have taken place in November, mostly centered in mid-county, according to Okanogan County Sheriff Frank Rogers.
Jennifer Lynn Burgard, 39, Oroville, had a fourth-degree assault charge dismissed. Burgard was fined $300.
The court found probable cause to charge Matthew Russell Carden Jr., 30, Omak, with one count of second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm. The crime allegedly occurred Oct. 4.
