Richard Duston Aaron Poitras, 36, Okanogan, pleaded guilty July 27 to attempted possession of a stolen motor vehicle. Poitras was sentenced to 45 days in jail and fined $1,260.50. The crime occurred June 12.

Richard James Marsden, 62, Okanogan, pleaded guilty July 18 to two counts of distribution of a controlled substance (one each for methamphetamine and heroin). The court dismissed an additional count: distribution of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). Marsden was sentenced to 12 months in jail and fined $800. The crimes occurred Oct. 25 and Nov. 1, 2016.

Nathaniel James Edenso, 36, Tonasket, was found guilty (jury trial) July 5 of first-degree trafficking in stolen property and third-degree possession of stolen property. Edenso was sentenced July 7 to 33 months (2.75 years) in prison and fined $800 for the Aug. 29, 2016 crimes.

Christina L. Fletcher, 47, Oroville, pleaded guilty June 20 to harassment (gross misdemeanor), POCS (methamphetamine) and solicitation to POCS (oxycodone). In a separate case, Fletcher pleaded guilty June 20 to unauthorized use of food stamps. Fletcher was sentenced to 30 days in jail and fined a total of $2,821.
