  • Parker Mason Bachtold, 18, Walla Walla, pleaded guilty Aug. 16 to first-degree murder (premeditated), first-degree robbery, theft of a motor vehicle, juvenile in possession of a fire arm and two counts of theft of a stolen firearm. Bachtold was sentenced to 360 months (30 years) in prison and fined $600 for the Sept. 30, 2014 crimes.
  • Rusty Jochua Nimmo, 26, Omak, pleaded guilty Aug. 16 to POCS (methamphetamine), fourth-degree assault and use of drug paraphernalia. Nimmo was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 333 days suspended, and fined $1,360.50 for the Feb. 1 crimes.
  • Chelsey Marie Harrison, 25, West Kelowna, B.C., pleaded guilty Aug. 16 to solicitation for POCS (cocaine). Harrison was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 359 days suspended, and fined $760.50. The crime occurred Feb. 26 at the Oroville Port of Entry.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Zachary Steven Skone, 18, Chelan, with drive-by shooting and unlawful possession of a shotgun in a vehicle. The crimes allegedly occurred Aug. 12 in Omak.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Veronica Salinas Montoya, 29, Omak, with POCS (methamphetamine). The crime allegedly occurred Aug. 13.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Charles Daniel Wynecoop, 27, Omak, with POCS (heroin) (with intent). The crime allegedly occurred Aug. 13.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Devin Patrick Otis, 26, Okanogan, with third-degree assault (law enforcement officer), disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. The crimes allegedly occurred Aug. 14, 2016.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Camron Anthony Rios, 28, Oroville, with second-degree assault (DV). The crime allegedly occurred Aug. 14.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Adrian Ramos Carrero, 22, Tonasket, with two counts each of first-degree burglary (DV) and third-degree malicious mischief (DV); and one count each of second-degree assault (with a deadly weapon) (DV), fourth-degree assault (DV), fourth-degree assault, third-degree theft and interfering with reporting (DV). The crimes allegedly occurred Aug. 14.

District Court

  • Jesus Luna Ortiz, 42, Riverside, guilty on two counts of third-degree theft. Luna Ortiz was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 359 days suspended, and fined a total of $1,556.
  • James Allen Marsh, 55, Omak, guilty of DUI. Marsh was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 362 days suspended, and fined $2,236.
  • Dewayne Allen McClung Jr., 32, Omak, guilty of DUI. McClung was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 324 days suspended, and fined $3,086.
  • Crystal Sunshine Moore, 31, Tonasket, guilty of third-degree DWLS. Moore has an additional third-degree DWLS charge dismissed. Moore received a 90-day suspended sentence and fined $666.
  • Chantelle Monique Norris, 29, Omak, guilty of hit-and-run (attended vehicle) and third-degree DWLS. Norris received a 364-day suspended sentence and fined $376.
  • Wilfred Pierre Nysti, 34, Omak, guilty of a trip permit violation, third-degree DWLS and operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device. Nysti was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 352 days suspended, and fined a total of $932.
  • Corrina Shy Starr Plant, 22, Omak, guilty of third-degree theft and DUI. Plant was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 357 days suspended, and fined a total of $2,574.
  • Mihaley Joseph Racz, 20, Oroville, guilty of three counts of second-degree vehicle prowl and two counts of third-degree theft; and guilty (other deferral revoked) of third-degree malicious mischief, two additional counts of third-degree theft and one additional count of second-degree vehicle prowling. Racz had an additional third-degree theft charge dismissed. Racz was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 359 days suspended, and fined a total of $2,269.
  • Juan Mauro Rodriguez Alvarez, 34, Omak, guilty of first-degree DWLS. Rodriguez Alvarez was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 354 days suspended, and fined $1,123.
  • Marcos Florention Rosas, 31, Omak, guilty of third-degree DWLS. Rosas was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 363 days suspended, and fined $663.
  • Gabriel Jose Saenz, 43, Riverside, guilty of making a false or misleading statement and bail jumping. Saenz had a third-degree theft charge dismissed. Saenz was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 357 days suspended, and fined a total of $677.
  • Jacob Donald Smith, 24, Omak, guilty on two counts of third-degree theft. Smith was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 359 days suspended, and fined a total of $704.86.
