Patrick M. Sullivan

Patrick M. Sullivan, age 80, of Omak passed peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010.

He was born on Feb. 18, 1930 in Metaline Falls, Wash., the son of Bertha R. (Tillman) and Lynn M. Sullivan.

In 1936 Pat moved to Nighthawk and graduated from Oroville High School in 1948. He entered the United States Army and served in Korea. After he was honorably discharged he worked for the Bureau of Reclamation as a machinist at Grand Coulee Dam; having retired from there in 1985. In 1961 Pat married Mary E. Mueller.

Pat and Mary spent many years traveling the United States and were snowbirds for many years. Pat was an avid hunter, fisherman and dirt bike rider. He helped maintain many dirt bike trails in the Foggy Dew area. He was also a life member of the VFW and the NRA. In 2009 Pat and Mary moved to Apple Springs Assisted Living in Omak.

Survivors include his wife, Mary of Omak; step son Ron (Bonnie) Hirst of Tonasket; step daughter Karen Hirst of Spokane; two granddaughters; three great grandchildren; sister in law Ivadelle Sullivan of Omak; two nieces and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother and one brother, Glee Sullivan.

Following Pat’s long standing request, no services will be held.
