She was born on April 2, 1927 in Okalona, Miss. to parents James M. and Olga Reed (Milligan) Pruitt. Linda moved to Tonasket with her mother, Olga Pruitt, in 1958. Linda enjoyed family outings, knitting, playing cards, but most of all she enjoyed the wonders of nature; including birds, squirrels and the nesting of the geese in the spring.

She is survived by her brother, James W. Pruitt of Tonasket

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Berk Pruitt.

Family graveside services were held at the Tonasket Cemetery.
