Laura Ann Kinamon, age 79, of Omak died on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010 at the North Valley Extended Care in Tonasket. She was born on June 10, 1931 in Issaquah, the youngest of three girls to parents Walter and Orpha McDonald.

Laura graduated from Renton High School in 1949. On Sept. 3, 1955 she married Leonard Hedlund in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho and together they had three children. They resided in Kent until 1973 when they purchased the auto dealership in Tonasket. She and Leonard were later divorced and in 1980, Laura moved to Wenatchee. In December of 1982 she married Dennis Kinamon and he preceded her in death. Laura worked for many years as the office manager at Town Toyota.

She is survived by her son, Jack (Jean) Hedlund of Tonasket and children Jeri (Carson) Timm of Omak and Jessie Hedlund of Tonasket; daughter: Janet (Loren) Wahl of Loomis and children, Grant Leavell and Lee Leavell of Loomis and Brandon, Dalton and Logan Wahl all of Loomis; daughter-in-law, Janet Hedlund of Benge, Wash. and children Jennifer (Gregg) Simpson of Spangle, Jacki (Keith) Tyler of Pullman and Jaime Hedlund of Moscow, Idaho.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one son, Jim.

At her request no services will be held.
