Helen also collected and hand made dolls. Her dolls were in high demand and over the years she made over 50 on request and for donation. One of Helen’s most favorite hobbies was gardening. She cherished her begonias and geraniums as if no other flowers existed.

Helen was known for good conversation, and some may be surprised to learn that she was shy, yet throughout her life she possessed a loving and kind smile and a very dry, witty and entertaining sense of humor. All through her life she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many, who even now are being changed by her witness of constant nurturing love and faith. Her signature gift of joy and faith shown through her constant love and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and she shared this gift with many. Helen faithfully cared for family and friends through delicious baking, sewing and donating her time. A woman of faith and the heart of the Millard family Helen shaped her families spirituality by her tireless Christian example.
