The
 district
 will
 use
 the
 following
 means
 to
 communicate
 with
 staff,
 students,
 parents,

Start
 of
 School
 
School
 will
 start
 on
 September
 2nd
 as
 scheduled.
 All
 staff
 day
 and
 the
 Open
 House
 will
 also
  be
 held
 as
 scheduled.
 
 The
 staff
 Poker
 Walk
 is
 canceled.
 
 
  Air
 Quality
 
  Air
 quality
 will
 be
 tested
 prior
 to
 the
 start
 of
 school,
 will
 continue
 to
 be
 monitored,
 and
 any
  issues
 will
 be
 mitigated
 to
 allow
 for
 safe
 occupancy.
 
 The
 district
 has
 arranged
 for
  equipment
 to
 help
 improve
 the
 indoor
 air
 quality,
 and
 it
 will
 be
 installed
 prior
 to
 the
 start
  of
 school
 if
 needed.
 
 
 All
 activities,
 including
 athletic
 activities
 and
 the
 HS
 open
 campus,
 will
  be
 kept
 indoors
 if
 air
 quality
 is
 poor.

 Procedure
 
We
 recognize
 that
 some
 families
 are
 in
 situations
 that
 make
 it
 difficult
 or
 impossible
 for
  students
 to
 attend
 school
 right
 now.
 We
 will
 be
 working
 with
 each
 family
 on
 an
 individual
  basis
 to
 lessen
 the
 impact
 of
 their
 later
 start.
 
 Please
 contact
 your
 child’s
 building
 to
 work
  out
 a
 plan,
 and
 to
 let
 us
 know
 when
 you
 child
 can
 return
 to
 school.
 

  In
 the
 event
 of
 a
 level
 3
 evacuation
 for
 Tonasket,
 we
 will
 institute
 established
 emergency
  procedures
 for
 school
 evacuation.
 
 We
 have
 an
 Incident
 Command
 system
 and
 established
  protocol
 in
 place
 to
 guide
 this
 process.
 
  We
 have
 created
 an
 Official
 Tonasket
 School
 District
 Facebook
 page
 to
 improve
  communication.
 
 Please
 go

  Staff
  We
 expect
 all
 staff
 to
 be
 at
 work,
 but
 understand
 that
 there
 may
 be
 individual
  circumstances
 that
 make
 this
 difficult
 or
 impossible.

 road
 closures

 evacuations.

 Road
 remains
 closed,
 there
 will
 be
 a
 group
 school
 bus
 stop
  at
 the
 junction
 of
 Hwy
 20/Cayuse
 Mountain
 Road.
 Approximate
 AM
 pickup
 will
 be
 at
 7:45
  and
 PM
 drop
 off
 will
 be
 at
 3:35
 PM.

 bus
 routes
 will
 be
 communicated
 via
 individual
 telephone
 calls,
  announcements
 on
 the
 local
 news,
