Salary raises were unconscionable

Dear Editor,

I can no longer remain quiet on the issue of the Assisted Living closing in Tonasket. After sitting back and observing and reading about what is taking place at the hospital, I feel compelled to address the hospital board and all the high paid administrative staff. To all of you I have only one question: How do you sleep at night?

Who was in control of court?

Need to see bigger picture

Dear Editor,

I think the Tonasket Hospital Commissioners need to realize the bigger picture. They have been on county warrants and this involves the whole county. Are there those of us out there that would support the continued use of warrants to support any of our hospital systems, if they were being run efficiently? Without a doubt.

To: Citizens for the Tonasket Assisted Living
RE: Response letter for Closure of Assisted living Facility, Mr. Don Atchison,
The Board of Commissioners appreciates the time and comments of the public as we enter into a period of change with the closure of the Assisted Living Facility.
We wish to express to the community that this was the most difficult decision we have had to make in recent times. We feel the same sorrow and in some ways the same anger that some of you do.
